French Martini

It’s no secret that we love a dry martini but sometimes it’s nice to have something a bit fruity that isn’t a Cosmopolitan.  Now we know that these kinds of drinks often get a bad press from purists (and some bartenders) for not strictly being ‘martinis’ but we don’t care much for all that.  We just love the hit of sweet fruit from the black raspberry liqueur which balances the sharpness of the pineapple juice.  And the foam created from shaking the pineapple juice adds an extra touch of fruitiness to lighten the mood.  These are so easily drinkable, it can be all too easy to overindulge!

15ml Chambord Liqueur
50ml Vodka
60ml Pineapple Juice
Raspberry or lemon twist to garnish

Pour all the ingredients into a shaker and shake vigorously.
Strain into a chilled glass.
Garnish and serve.
