The Festival of Coffee

Date: 29 September 2017

Time: 18:00

Price: £10 Earlybird

We are teaming up with Guildhall Winchester to co-host the city’s first coffee festival on Friday 29 September 2017. The festival is an event of two parts, comprising Winchester’s Biggest Coffee Morning from 10.30am to 2pm and the Festival of Coffee from 6pm to 10pm. Winchester’s favourite independent businesses are pulling together to make this event a success, including Flat White’s, Moonroast, the Cornerhouse, Chococo, Killed by Coffee and many more. Participating businesses will be making donations from their sales to Macmillan Cancer Support.

The evening event will have a party atmosphere, with coffee cocktails from bar sponsor, Conker Spirit, whose Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur from Dorset is causing a stir with coffee lovers across the region. Entertainment will be provided by DJ Super Kat, who recently had crowds jumping around at Graze Festival in Twyford.

Macmillan’s Fundraising Manager for South West Hampshire, Ryan Howarth said: “Sadly the number of people being diagnosed with cancer is increasing every year and that means Macmillan’s support for people living with cancer is in more demand than ever.

“At Macmillan, we know how cancer can affect everything. We’re here to help people live life, no matter what, but we can’t do it without the amazing people who fundraise for us. Donations received from this event will go towards helping Macmillan support people affected by cancer at the time they need us most.”
