Winchester is steeped in history and its beautiful buildings and monuments will have seen tremendous changes in society over the centuries. Cabinet Rooms is proposing a walking tour of of the city… with a difference.

Join Marcus and Gary as they talk you through the colourful story of gin in the context of Winchester’s fascinating history. You will get to try genever, the precursor to gin, during an after-hours pitstop at the City Museum before continuing to learn how the juniper spirit changed our nation, while touring Winchester on foot.

The tour will end at the Green Man Pub on Southgate Street and there is the option to pre-purchase a 2- or 3-course supper with complimentary Gin & Tonic.
